'From what I’ve seen…' Conor McGregor gets real about Andrew Tate and his brother
Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

The Tate brothers, Andrew and Tristan, are among the most controversial influencers in the world. The Red Pill influencers have created a fan base and also critics. Many in the fighting world, like Aljamain Sterling , Sean O’Malley, and Israel Adesanya , have appreciated brothers. Now, Conor McGregor has joined the mix.

McGregor recently dissed several fighters in a Q&A session with fight fans. Kamaru Usman , Khabib Nurmagomedov , Ilia Topuria , Alexander Volkanovski, Leon Edwards , and Belal Muhammad were on the wrong end of McGregor’s ire. However, McGregor does not seem to have any enmity towards Andrew Tate and his younger brother.

I like Andrew [Tate]. From what I see and hear, the brothers are up against it. It seems a bit vague to me; you don't really get much information. I haven't dug deep into it either, but from what I've seen and what he's said, how they carried themselves, they're okay in my book. Top G. Conor McGregor via Q&A session

The respect between the Tate brothers and McGregor is mutual. When McGregor announced his intention to run for office in the Republic of Ireland, Tristan Tate endorsed the idea. After all, they share similarities as they have a huge fan following despite their villainous persona.

McGregor will return to the octagon after a three-year absence at UFC 303 against Michael Chandler. According to UFC CEO Dana White, the International Fight Week PPV is en route to breaking $20 million in live gate. As such, everyone is looking forward to the Irishman’s UFC return.

Andrew Tate speaks on Conor McGregor

Before he became a controversial red pill influencer, Andrew Tate was a successful kickboxer. Joe Rogan is an avid kickboxing fan. As such, Rogan knew about Tate and had always praised Tate’s fighting skills and intelligence.

Despite his controversial persona, Tate has acquaintances with several UFC fighters. Moreover, though he has not met Conor McGregor in person, Tate respected and appreciated the first simultaneous double champion in UFC history.

I like Conor [McGregor]. I have respect for anybody who stands up for what they believe in...I feel like Conor, even though we probably don't agree on everything, is an honest person. He probably says what he means and means what he says, and that's enough for me to give him my basic respect as a man. Andrew Tate via THE PASSIONATE FEW podcast

One thing Tate hates the most is deception and ‘snakery.’ For Tate, McGregor doesn’t seem deceptive, and thus the respect. Since McGregor has recently applauded Tate and his brother, a meeting between them would likely happen in the future.
