‘Triple C’ will face off with a legend of the Octagon that he’s not competed against before.
Cejudo retired after a loss to Payton Talbott at UFC 323 last month, having announced ahead of time that this would be his last dance.
The 38-year-old achieved a remarkable career in MMA after making the transition from wrestling, becoming a simultaneous two-division UFC champion.
Cejudo has goals away from combat sports that he wants to pursue after putting on a great fight to wave goodbye to the fans.
However, it was recently announced that ‘Triple C’ isn’t waiting long before making his return to competition.
It was announced several days ago that Henry Cejudo will headline RAF06 in Tempe on February 26.
‘Triple C’ will become the latest UFC star to return to his wrestling background by appearing in Real American Freestyle.
After initially retiring from MMA in 2020, Cejudo made a failed return three years later, resulting in him suffering four consecutive losses when attempting to come back.
His opponent at the Mullett Arena in Arizona will be another fighter that was lured back to the Octagon three years on from his initial retirement.
Urijah Faber went out with a win over Brad Pickett in 2026 before ending his MMA career on a knockout loss to Petr Yan in December of 2019.
Faber, a UFC Hall of Famer who is now 46 years old, won two grappling matches against Bibiano Fernandes and Jeff Glover in 2024 before facing off with Cejudo in his next outing.
It was previously announced that UFC veteran Clay Guida will also feature at RAF06 on February 26, though his opponent hasn’t been announced yet.
Real American Freestyle has announced a different clash instead, with former UFC flyweight Muhammad Mokaev set to take on Bryce Meredith.
The 25-year-old went 7-0 inside the Octagon before controversially departing the promotion in 2024.
Last time out, Mokaev stopped Gerard Burns to win the vacant BRAVE CF flyweight title with a head kick knockout in the second round.
