Ronda Rousey remains on great terms with Dana White after her Netflix comeback fight.

The UFC legend returned to the cage after 10 years retired on a show promoted by Jake Paul on Saturday night.

After submitting Gina Carano in 17 seconds, Ronda Rousey insisted that her friendship with Dana White is still strong, even though she fought for a rival MMA promotion live on Netflix.

Why Ronda Rousey is forever grateful to Dana White

Ronda Rousey detailed a recent text exchange with the UFC CEO during her post-fight press conference.

Dana White apparently wished his former employee well ahead of her first fight since getting brutally knocked out by Amanda Nunes in December 2016.

“He did send me a text this morning,” Rousey said.

“He sent me a text, and he said, ‘Good luck,’ and, you know, that he hopes me and Gina kill it.

“I just told him how much it meant to me to hear that from him. Yeah, he’s been an incredible friend to me, and I’m here because of him. I am eternally grateful.

“I really appreciate him giving me his blessing to go out and do this on my own.”

Ronda Rousey retires again

Ronda Rousey insisted that her comeback was a one-and-done deal before fighting Gina Carano.

The 39-year-old stayed true to her word by immediately’ retiring after scoring a super-fast armbar finish.

“There’s no way I could have ended it better than this,” Rousey said during her post-fight interview with Ariel Helwani.

”I want to have some more babies, and I’ve got to get cooking.”
