Paddy Pimblett has revealed his current weight after a post-fight food binge.
‘The Baddy’ is known for indulging his love of junk food when he’s not got a fight coming up.
Paddy Pimblett has spent the past few months on a diet to prepare for an interim lightweight title clash with Justin Gaethje.
Since falling to a unanimous-decision defeat at UFC 324 on January 24, the British fan favorite has been off his diet and enjoying all the food he missed during fight camp.
On Sunday, Paddy Pimblett shared a 14-minute video titled ‘I Got Fat Again’ on YouTube.
It showed him visiting all of his favorite restaurants during a post-fight food tour in Liverpool, England.
One sandwich shop made a bold call by giving the notorious eater a ‘Black Card’ that allows him to eat as much as he wants for free.
Naturally, Pimblett got one of everything on the menu and documented himself eating it all.
At the end of his video diary, the 31-year-old revealed what he weighed three weeks after fighting Justin Gaethje.
“I’m not that fat. I’m actually alright,” Pimblett said.
“I’m like 86kg (190lbs), which is sound. I got in the cage about that.
“I’m not like America fat, where I’m like 95kg (210lbs).
“So, we’re doing good. We’re doing alright.”
Paddy Pimblett is currently on holiday with his wife and their twin daughters, so he won’t be thinking about a comeback fight just yet.
However, Pimblett plans to be active as he looks to work his way back into title lightweight contention this year.
If he wants to avoid another weight cut, he could face a former interim welterweight UFC champion.
Colby Covington recently revealed he’s in talks to fight on the UFC White House card this summer.
In an ideal world, Pimblett will be the man standing across the Octagon from him on June 14.
“I’ve been negotiating with the UFC for the White House card. You know, that’s the one that I want,” Covington said. “This would be the biggest fight I’ve ever had. To fight on the south lawn in front of the President would be the greatest honour of my career.”
He added: “I’d really like to fight with Paddy Pimblett. He had shown interest that he might want to come up a weight class to welterweight.”
