Islam Makhachev will fall short against Jack Della Maddalena, says a welterweight fighter

On November 15, at UFC 322, Dagestani will challenge the Australian for his welterweight title at Madison Square Garden in New York, USA.

While the former lightweight champion is the favorite, Jake Ellenberger thinks Della Maddalena beats Makhachev.

And he’s not the only person who feels that way.

Ian Machado Garry says Jack Della Maddalena finishes Islam Makhachev

Ian Machado Garry has a very high opinion of Islam Makhachev.

But for one specific reason, he’s siding with Jack Della Maddalena.

In an interview with MMA Knockout on Sports Illustrated, he said: “I would want to be there. I’d wanna see it in real time because real time is different to the TV. Again, stylistically, it’s a great fight. Islam is phenomenal everywhere, and he is only getting better everywhere, but so is Jack.

“And I just feel like the size difference, ‘JDM’ couldn’t physically make 155lbs, and I genuinely believe, I think JDM has the opportunity to go out here and knock Islam out.”

Carlos Prates explains how Jack Della Maddalena can beat Islam Makhachev

Ellenberger and Machado Garry are both confidently picking Della Maddalena.

In addition, Carlos Prates also fancies the underdog to get the job done.

And the mixed martial artist believes he’s worked out the game plan the Aussie has to follow.

Interestingly, Prates said this is how Della Maddalena defeats Makhachev.
