Jake Paul negotiates multi-million dollar payday for Jon Jones as Dana White scratches head over Tom Aspinall fight

However, in reality, Jones could be more focused on selling pay-per-views. Jones had previously entertained the idea of fighting Alex Pereira . The reason might anger hardcore fans as he stated that the Brazilian is a bigger star than Tom Aspinall. 

This supports Paul’s theory that Jones focuses on money instead of legacy. ‘Bones’ has been in the UFC for more than two decades and can retire anytime soon. Ahead of that, getting a few potential fat fight purses doesn’t sound like a bad idea. As a PPV superstar, the American fighter has various other options to earn money and extend his legacy.

In the world of heavyweight MMA, the upcoming fight between Francis Ngannou and Renan Ferreira has created a lot of hype. It would be Ngannou’s first ever PFL fight, one year after joining the promotion. Jake Paul was present during their face-off, where he talked about Jon Jones and Francis Ngannou’s old beef. 

According to Paul, Dana White is scared to let Jones fight Ngannou. Paul believes Ngannou is one of the most dangerous men in the world, and a fight between him and Jones makes sense. The boxer suggested Jones fight the winner of Ngannou vs. Ferreira in an interview with Esquire Middle East. 

I would love it if Jon eventually fought Ngannou or Ferreira. I think these two guys are the best heavyweights on the planet right now, and to cement his legacy, Jon should fight the winner of this upcoming fight Jake Paul via Esquire Middle East

UFC co-promoting with PFL will not happen. PFL personalities and officials can push for a PFL vs. UFC event. It will not happen and if it does happen, by that time, Jones and Ngannou will have announced their retirement. There is a huge possibility that after UFC 309, Jones will decide to retire from the sport. Given his highly decorated career, it wouldn’t be a bad farewell for the fighter.
