Ilia Topuria and many other MMA stars had slammed Arman Tsarukyan for his luxurious lifestyle. Topuria also said he didn’t have his own money and was spending his dad’s money. However, Joe Rogan praised Tsarukyan for breaking the billionaire stereotype and fighting dominantly.

Rogan praised Arman Tsarukyan for proving that athletes from wealthy families could still become world-class fighters. The UFC commentator noted that although Arman came from a very rich family, he was anything but lazy. In a recent video, the 58-year-old said (video here; warning: viewer discretion advised).

“His dad’s a billionaire, but he’s not lazy at all. He flies in the face of the long-standing belief that if you come from a rich family, you can’t be a great fighter. It doesn’t matter if you come from the ghetto, he’s gonna f--- you up. Some dudes are like, ‘I’m from the favelas.’”

The UFC commentator also joked that growing up in a tough environment did not automatically make someone a better fighter. But he praised Tsarukyan for his discipline and the way he fought. However, the Armenian fighter was out of action in the UFC, but he was officially appointed as the backup fighter for the White House card.

Arman Tsarukyan Says Justin Gaethje Won’t Pull Out Of White House Card Despite Injury

Arman Tsarukyan is the official backup fighter for the Ilia Topuria vs. Justin Gaethje fight at the White House card. However, the Armenian fighter believed Gaethje would fight Topuria at the UFC White House card no matter what physical issues he might have. In a recent talk with Adam Zubayraev, he said:

“Whatever happens with Gaethje, he’ll go out there and just collect his cash, his money, because he’s making big money. Even if he loses, he’ll still take home a good purse.”

Gaethje understood that the White House event was a huge opportunity, and he would likely show up to secure one of the biggest paydays of his career regardless of the outcome. Meanwhile, fans had waited a very long time for Tsarukyan’s comeback and are now waiting for his fight announcement.
