Jon Jones has been fighting the emotions lately of trying to muster up the desire to get back into the Octagon. That has been a struggle recently as he has not displayed too much urgency to get back into the Octagon. Then a few weeks ago he shocks the MMA world by announcing his retirement to Dana White and then Dana White at a press conference announces that Jon Jones has just retired. A lot of MMA fans did not believe that Jones was completely done from fighting.
Once Donald Trump made an eye opening announcement that he will hold a UFC card at the White House, that announcement seemed to light a fire under Jones and immediately he entered back into the UFC drug program which all signs indicate that he will be ending his retirement immediately.
Donald made his announcement on the morning of the Fourth of July, I called the UFC headquarters that very same afternoon. I’ll just leave it at that. America! Now that tickles my pickle. https://t.co/wDydycPNic

Will fight fans finally get the fight that they’ve been looking for between Jon Jones and Tom Aspinall. We could very well be a matter of days away from this fight becoming official.
But before we get too excited, might want to pump the brakes even though the momentum is going in the right direction. John Jones, sudden arrival back into the sport, shakes up some things. Is Aspinall going to be considered the champion now or does Jones still keep the title? How is all that going to be sorted out? Either way, that seems to be a good problem for the UFC.
