There is no doubt that many UFC fighters do not have stable relationships, including Dan Hooker, Ilia Topuria, and others. Several fighters have shockingly gone through relationship turmoil. Meanwhile, despite previously having a girlfriend, Justin Gaethje admitted he does not have a girlfriend or wife because he rarely leaves his house. Now, he has shared a wild way he deals with loneliness.

Gaethje admits his life can feel dull and isolated, and he knows much of it comes down to the choices he has made. While many high-profile fighters chase the spotlight, he prefers staying home and keeping to himself. That rhythm has become his routine. He owns it. Still, even “The Highlight” has moments when the silence feels heavy, and the loneliness creeps in.

And now he shares that when he feels lonely, he goes out in public, takes pictures with fans, and then goes back home. In his words, “If I feel lonely, I just go out in public and people want to take pictures with me, and then I come back home.”

When he goes outside and takes a few pictures, it reminds him that many people care. For a short while, he doesn’t feel lonely. He sees smiles, hears kind words, and feels happy, forgetting his boring life.

But regular people don’t get that. They are not as famous, so the small boost doesn’t happen to them regularly as it does for him. But he also knows fighting will not last forever, and that thought has made him seriously consider retirement.

Justin Gaethje Says Another Brutal Knockout May End His Career

The new interim champion recently said he would walk away from the sport if he suffered another knockout like the one he took from Max Holloway. The BMF title holder stopped Gaethje at 4:59 of the fifth round at UFC 300, a finish that earned Knockout of the Year honors. In a recent video, the 37-year-old looked back on it and explained he would not put himself in that spot again.

He said, “If I get knocked out again like Max Holloway knocked me out, I’d be done. I wouldn’t allow myself to risk being in that position.

However, the new interim champion might face knockout artist Ilia Topuria for the lightweight title next. And the threat of a knockout looms large, given what Topuria has already done to opponents in this division.
