Matt Schnell (14-5-0) won't fight Tyson Nam (19-11-1) during Saturday's UFC Vegas 10 show held at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
Matt Weibel, Schnell's manager, confirmed on Twitter that the 30-year-old collapsed while attempting to cut weight ahead of Friday's weigh-ins. Schnell was recovering at a local hospital as of Friday afternoon.
Matt Schnell was attempting to cut his final 2 pounds at approximately 6:30 AM, as he got off the scale he put his hands on his knees and unfortunately collapsed. When he fell, he hit his head on the scale and had symptoms of a concussion.

He’s doing better, just disappointed.
Weight-cutting has been a hot-button topic among members of the mixed martial arts community for years. Former UFC champion Cris "Cyborg" Justino shared one harrowing experience of a rapid weight-drop with ESPN back in December 2016.
Schnell hasn't fought since he lost to Alexandre Pantoja last December. Nam stopped Zarrukh Adashev 32 seconds into their bout on June 13.

Nam took to Twitter after learning he won't be fighting on Saturday:
Shouldn’t I be ranked #9 now??
