Former UFC and BKFC fighter Paige VanZant made her return to action Saturday night.

VanZant met Elle Brooke for her Misfits boxing middleweight title in the main event of Misfits Boxing 15. The card aired live on DAZN from the NRG Arena in Houston.

Despite being dropped in the first round by Brooke, VanZant was able to battle back to a split draw. Brooke left the event with her title still around her waist.

Each fighter earned a 48-46 decision while the third scored it 47-47.

In the co-main event, former NFL superstar Le’Veon Bell topped Tristan Hamm via unanimous decision.

Misfits Boxing is a crossover promotion founded by YouTuber KSI and run by Mams Taylor, Kalle Sauerland and Nisse Sauerland.

Paige VanZant Makes Her Professional Boxing Debut

VanZant, who went 8-5 while competing in MMA, was fighting for the first time as a pro boxer. She also took a pair of bouts for Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship after leaving the UFC.

Between competing, VanZant has also appeared on AEW pro wrestling and Dancing with the Stars. The 30-year-old has not won a fight since 2019 when she submitted Rachael Ostovich.

Brooke, a native of England, made her name through her OnlyFans page. She is now 2-0-1 with two career knockouts.

Bell’s win moved him into the semifinals of the cruiserweight tournament. He will face either Jake Cornish or Mike Edwards next.

Prior to moving into boxing, Bell was an all-pro running back in 2014 for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He ran for over 6,500 yards in his career, leaving the sport in 2021.
