Welcome to MMA News Today, a daily feature running down the most interesting stories in the world of mixed martial arts. For March 19, 2024, we’re taking a look at:
In one of Ian Garry's responses to Colby Covington, a new merch item has landed on his online shop.
A blue hat with the text "Make MMA Great Again" is the latest product to be sold by the Irishman in a bid that he believes will annoy "Chaos".
He announced the new item via a video on social media where he encouraged people to buy it in order to "p*** off" Covington.
"Look what I'm selling, look what I just launched. You really want to p*** off Colby Covington? You make MMA great again and you retire his a**. Buy the cap and let's p*** off Colby."
It's hardly the Geoff Neal mugshot T-shirt but Garry is continuing to try and provoke Covington into fighting him after the former UFC interim welterweight champion posted a list of demands in order for the fight to take place.

One of the defining stories of 2024 in MMA is surely going to be the heroic actions of former UFC champion Mark Coleman and his incredible recovery.
"The Hammer" was in poor condition just over one week ago after he woke up in the middle of a house fire and continued to go back into his home in order to save his parents.
The UFC Hall of Famer was making remarkable progress whilst in hospital with updates coming in from multiple friends of Coleman's, including UFC veteran Matt Brown.
Just one week after being in hospital, Brown shared a video on social media of Coleman stepping foot inside the gym once again.
In his own words, all he did was take a little break before going back to regular life.
"I never left... well for a second."

Marlon Vera appears to have a miraculous recovery since his difficult night against Sean O'Malley at UFC 299.
Having come through the fight with no injuries, "Chito" is already starting to look at when his next outing will be and who his desired opponent is.
Vera told Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour that fighting in New York towards the end of the year would be an ideal scenario for him.
The former title challenger also named former champion Petr Yan as his preferred opponent though "No Mercy" recently announced some significant injuries that he suffered in his bounce back win over Song Yadong on the same night.
"I will eventually get gold. I will eventually get revenge. And now, let's see what's available," Vera said. "I am aiming — I would love to fight in New York. I love New York. I think that's my city. I feel I'm maybe from Queens. Hopefully I get to get on that card.
"I was hoping to fight Yan in November. I feel that’s a great fight, that fight makes sense. He’s a former champion, he beat a really good talent in Song Yadong," Vera added.
