Nassourdine Imavov will headline against Caio Borralho in the main event of UFC Fight Night 258 in Paris, as we preview this upcoming fight.
Imavov secured the biggest win of his career, a knockout victory over Israel Adesanya in his last bout. This win solidified his position as a top contender, with only one loss in his last nine bouts. Imamov is currently ranked fourth in the middleweight standings. Meanwhile, Borralho has not tasted defeat since July 2015. Borralho’s last outing was a win over Jared Cannonier in August 2024. He enters the contest with a 17-fight unbeaten streak.
“It’s very simple: I’m a complete fighter. I consider myself as a complete fighter. So if it has to go to the ground, it’ll go to the ground. I will welcome him to the ground. If it stays standing, it will be (better) and I will just demolish him. The thing is that I don’t speak too much but when I fight, I want to bring a real show to my fans.
“He just wants to win the fight in this way, having a weird fight, a not interesting fight. That’s not how I’m used to doing. For me, I’ll make this fight in spectacular fashion. It’s important for me to show people that I can make a boring fighter, a great fight,” Imamov said
“He doesn’t like to get punched. Even in training, I heard a lot about him. I’ve been training with guys who already trained with him. He gets mad when he gets touched in his face, and that’s exactly what’s going to happen in the fight. I’m going to touch him a lot, I’m going to pressure him, I’m going to defend his speed and then in the right time, I’m going to knock him out,” Borralho stated
