Nate Diaz makes WWE RAW appearance

In his time away from competing, Nate Diaz has been spotted attending a WWE RAW show, live from Sacramento, California.

It's no secret that the UFC star is a big fan of sports entertainment, having been spotted with WWE legends on several occasions in the past. Though his future seemingly remains in either MMA or boxing, Diaz has teased a move to the professional wrestling ring in the past.

Nate Diaz has become somewhat of an icon in the combat sports space over the years, with countless fans gravitating toward his authentic personality. There's likely a world where the 40-year-old uses his own identity and excels as a character in the WWE, but for now, he's comfortable just being a spectator.

During an episode of WWE RAW on Monday, which was broadcast live from the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, the California native was spotted in attendance.

Sitting in the front row alongside his children, Nate Diaz was given some screen time by WWE, in which his daughter pulled the iconic 'Diaz pose' to a round of applause.

What happened at WWE RAW on October 20?

Those attending the October 20 showcase witnessed numerous huge storylines in the WWE Universe.

The major breaking news from the event was an injury forcing Seth Rollins to vacate his World Heavyweight title. To combat the unfortunate timing, a Battle Royal was put in place, with the winner receiving a No. 1 contender spot for the now-vacant championship.

Jey Uso came out victorious and will now face CM Punk for gold. 

AJ Styles and Dragon Lee emerged with the win and were crowned the new World Tag Team champions. Styles hit his infamous Styles Clash to defeat Finn Balor and JD McDonagh.

Maxxine Dupri earned a disqualification victory over Women's Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch.

Dominik Mysterio got the better of Rusev to retain his Intercontinental Championship, with some outside help from Penta.

It was an action-packed affair for all those tuning in to WWE RAW live from Sacramento, California.
