Paddy Pimblett Reveals Huge Milkshake-Fueled Weight Gain After UFC 314

UFC fighter Paddy Pimblett continues to defy conventional fight camp logic—and now he's revealed a sweet secret about it.

Turns out PimbIett's secret is all about milkshakes.

Just days after his dominant third-round TKO win over Michael Chandler at UFC 314, Pimblett shared on Bruce Buffer’s "IT’S TIME!!!" podcast that he’s already bulked back up to 198 pounds.

That’s 42 pounds above the lightweight non-title limit he weighed in at (156 pounds) for the fight.

“On Sunday, I had about five milkshakes after the fight. This morning I woke up like 198, which is fat,” Pimblett said. “That’s about the heaviest I get.

”I never really touch 200 [pounds]. Only if I’m in the States, the food just makes me into a machine. I’m massive in the States, but when I get back to the UK, the highest I reach is like 195 pounds.”

It’s not the first time Pimblett has packed on weight between bouts, as he has made headlines for ballooning well above his fight weight during off-camp stretches, most recently last November.

With the win over former title-challenger Tony Ferguson at UFC 296 and then-No. 8 lightweight contender Chandler in the lightweight division at UFC 314, Pimblett must feel comfortable with his routine.

Most recently, in the TKO win over Chandler, Pimblett relied on leg kicks, uppercuts, and scrambles to control the fight early, then gained top position multiple times as Chandler faded.

In the third round, Pimblett landed a knee that opened a nasty cut, took Chandler’s back, and unleashed ground-and-pound until the referee stepped in.

Despite concerns every time Pimblett uses this strategy, the truth is that he’s never missed weight in the UFC and continues to improve his performance inside the Octagon.
