The camera panned to Paddy Pimblett moments before the final UFC Vegas 108 prelim began.

Fletcher’s pal looked confident that he’d get the job done, but that’s not how the fight played out

Nakamura landed an early liver kick that signalled the beginning of the end for Fletcher.

The Englishman tried his best to remain upright before eating a follow-up shot that floored him.

Fletcher curled up and ate several ground strikes before the referee waved it off after 62 seconds.

Paddy Pimblett’s next fight

Paddy Pimblett brutalized Michael Chandler to win his biggest fight to date at UFC 314 in April.

The 30-year-old scouser would usually need another win to earn a title shot as he’s currently ranked at #9.

However, his long-running beef with lightweight champion Ilia Topuria has people calling for them to fight in 2025.

The UFC stars clashed during a heated face-off after Topuria won the vacant 155lb belt at UFC 317.

At the time of writing, it’s currently unclear if Pimblett or someone else will get the next crack at Topuria.
