Alexandre Pantoja says he is done with the promotional side of his UFC 331 rematch against Joshua Van.

The flyweight champion told reporters this week that he has no interest in trash talk or press conference theatrics ahead of Saturday's title defense. "I'm not trying to sell this anymore, I'm here to fight," Pantoja said, according to video posted by Sherdog. "I'm not here for the press conference; I'm here for Saturday night. My mind is only focused on Saturday."

Pantoja's Approach to Van Rematch

The Brazilian champion defeated Van by decision in their first meeting and appears intent on letting his performance do the talking in the sequel. Both fighters have predicted finishes for the rematch, setting up a high-stakes main event at UFC 331.

Pantoja's comments suggest a shift in mindset from promotion to preparation as fight night approaches. The champion emphasized that his mental energy is directed entirely toward Saturday's bout rather than the lead-up events.

UFC 331 takes place Saturday with the flyweight title rematch serving as the evening's headliner.
