Payton Talbott extended his win streak to six at UFC 332, stopping former flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo in the opening round.

Talbott held clear advantages in striking, height and size, and dropped Figueiredo within the first minute. Figueiredo recovered and tried to grapple against the cage, but took heavy shots there that left him badly hurt. Once the two separated, Talbott landed a right cross that put him down for good.

The win makes Figueiredo the second former world champion Talbott has beaten in a short seven-fight UFC career, after Henry Cejudo in 2025. In his post-fight interview, Talbott said he wants another former champion next and called out Sean O'Malley, who is coming off wins over Song Yadong and Aiemann Zahabi this year.
