Making a return trip to the Middle East, the PFL is gearing up to put on another spectacular card in Saudi Arabia with their second massive MENA event of 2025, PFL MENA 2. Taking top billing in PFL MENA 2, returning welterweight king Omar El Dafrawy looks to defend his throne by turning away Daniele Miceli. Before that, Omar Hussein battles Mohammad Alaqraa in the penultimate matchup of the night.
Undefeated since early 2023, El Dafrawy has embarked on a solid run as of late, winning his past seven bouts in a row going into PFL MENA 2. The crowning achievement of the streak came after he trounced the aforementioned Alaqraa last year at the PFL 2024 World Championships, securing the 170-lb strap by handing his opponent his first ever loss.
A veteran of nearly 20 fights, Miceli has competed all across the world, racking up a respectable 13-6 record with nine stoppages, including seven submissions. Aiming to take him his first major title, “The Cyborg” marches into his most high-profile contest to date in PFL MENA 2.
Training out of the world-renowned Team Alpha Male, Hussein will have some of the best coaching staff backing him up walking into the co-main event of PFL MENA 2. On a mission to earn his first victory in the company since making his debut back in 2022, “187” returns to the organization hell-bent on making a much stronger impression to fans all around the globe.
Once on the cusp of championship greatness last year, Alaqraa sadly lost both the chance to have PFL gold wrapped around his waist and his perfect professional record after being starched by El Dafrawy. Eager to get back in the saddle and resume his formerly unstoppable conquest of the 170-lb category, the American Kickboxing Academy standout battles to reenter the win column in glorious fashion in PFL MENA 2.
