Riley Predicts First-Round KO Of Undefeated McMillen

Luke Riley expects to knock out undefeated featherweight Tommy McMillen in the opening round if the two prospects meet later this year.

Riley, who trains alongside Paddy Pimblett in Liverpool, told Ronins MMA that he plans to return to the Octagon in December in Las Vegas. While he stopped short of an outright callout, the Englishman praised McMillen for bringing energy back to the division and said he would welcome the matchup. "Me and Tommy would have a great fight," Riley said, per Sherdog. "I like what he's doing. So, me and Tommy would have a great fight. I would knock Tommy out in Round 1. 100%."

Riley And McMillen Both Unbeaten In UFC

Riley holds a 14-0 record and has stopped two opponents in three UFC appearances since his promotional debut last year. He most recently finished Kai Kamaka III in the first round this past July. McMillen, a training partner of Sean O'Malley, is 12-0 overall with two stoppages in three UFC wins since arriving in April. The Dana White's Contender Series signee earned bonuses for each Octagon appearance, including his three-round war with Marwan Rahiki at Noche UFC 4 that handed the previously unbeaten prospect his first loss.

No matchup has been confirmed for Riley's December return.
