During an exclusive interview with Bloody Elbow, ‘The Juggernaut’ was asked to name the toughest and most powerful fighters he’d ever fought. And one icon fit both categories.
He replied: “I’ve fought so many tough guys. One that comes to mind is Robbie Lawler, you can put him in both, one of the toughest guys I’ve fought, and he’s one of the hardest punchers, no doubt, one of the most powerful guys.”
Ellenberger then gave two honorable mentions, adding: “Matt Brown could easily be the toughest guy I’ve ever fought. Stephen Thompson is a very tricky guy, a very hard style to fight.”
With fighting in the rearview mirror, Ellenberger has discovered a new passion — acting.
