Scott Coker is launching a new MMA promotion in early 2027, with a brand launch event scheduled for September 14th in New York City where further details — including a name and streaming partner — are expected to be revealed.

Coker, who built Strikeforce before running Bellator until the PFL takeover in 2023, has secured $60 million in financing for the venture. His leadership team includes former Paramount Network and Spike TV executive Kevin Kay as Chief Content Officer, Tom Fox as COO, Rich Chou as EVP of Athlete Relations, and Chris DeBlasio as EVP of Global Communications.

Coker has been open about his motivation: "I feel like there's a little bit of a funk in the MMA space right now," he told Yahoo Sports. "I don't know what it is, but I just feel it's got a funk to it. So let's go stir it up. People are gonna root for us, and we're gonna go stir it up."
