CM Punk, a former MMA fighter, has requested that his fans stop attacking his privacy and the privacy of his close friends and family. Everyone is familiar with WWE superstars, and most of them wear shirts and other items with their names or faces on them.
Of course, not all fans’ interactions of the sport are friendly and can turn rather nasty fast. Superstars like John Cena, CM Punk, Rhea Ripley, and Alexa Bliss are always caught by their fans, especially not in public places like restaurants and airports.
CM Punk does not feel pressure about losing fame or fans or the pressure from the company he works for. He is one of the champions who compete ferociously and shows his skills in the ring and on the microphone.
He will rarely beat around the bush, and he gets straight to the issue at hand. Although he appreciates and loves the people who watch and follow him, he has some advice for them. The WWE Superstar recently posted on Instagram and discussed how much the fans are interfering with his personal life. Punk said this is usually the case when he is on a trip, especially when he passes through airports.
CM Punk wrote this clearly on his social media. “Friendly reminder to respect privacy and boundaries. Airports are not a meet and greet. If I have to ask you to please stop following me multiple times, you have crossed a line. Please stop this. Thank you. And stop using your children as a shield or an excuse.”
This is not the first time CM Punk has criticized WWE fans, as he has done it several times. He called the people approaching him ‘lazy’ because they couldn’t get a real job. It’s reached the point that all they want is his autograph. Some fans backed him up during his rampage, and while he wasn’t directing anger at them, they still showed him support.
When he spoke about fans approaching him at airports, he used these words. “Those of you cheering me right now, you are the biggest reason I’m leaving, more than anything else. You’re the ones sipping out of those collector cups right now.” After that, he accused the fans of being fake fans and selling his autograph on E-bay by saying this. “You’re buying the programs that don’t even have my face on the cover. And then, at 5:00 am at the airport, you shove it in my face, hoping for an autograph, so that you can sell it on eBay because you’re too lazy to get a real job.”
CM Punk has never been a fan of people invading his privacy. Even though many of them might ignore his thoughts, Punk is a hero to many of them.
But somehow, there are moments when some people cross the limits. Many WWE superstars face the same situations but don’t say anything because they fear losing fans. By speaking out, Punk can be a voice for all the Superstars in his sport. What are your thoughts about the privacy of WWE stars, especially CM Punk?
