Ronda Rousey made her much-anticipated return to MMA on Saturday night. But you shouldn’t expect to see her fighting after her big win.

Rousey took a very businesslike approach to her bout with Gina Carano, giving viewers an annoyingly short main event that made her a massive bag

She wore a sinister scowl as she made her entrance and put Carano in an armbar almost immediately, forcing her opponent to tap out in just 17 seconds.

Ronda said after the bout that she had always intended to have a short fight, as she didn’t want to risk injury.

Having retired due to a series of concussions and consecutive losses in 2016, she wasn’t about to leave herself open to any hits and didn’t give Carano a chance to get any in.

She readily admitted that she wanted to emerge “as unscathed as possible.”

Rousey also revealed that she’s now well and truly finished with MMA, having fought her hero, and is now looking to extend her family.

“There is no way I could have ended it better than this. I want to have some more babies and I have to get cooking,” she said.

Rousey, 39, said she promised her husband that Saturday’s fight was a “one and done.”

“I’m having some babies after this,” she added.

She leaves the sport with a 13-2 record on the back of a full-circle moment.

Of course, you can never tell with athletes. The temptation to return will always be there, but we shouldn’t expect to see Rousey back in the cage anytime soon.
