
As reported by MMA Weekly, on May 10, the UFC will host UFC 315 in Montreal for the first time in 10 years, and it will feature two title fights.
Welterweight champion Belal Muhammad will put his title on the line against No. 4 ranked Jack Della Maddalena.
Women’s flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko will take on No. 2 ranked Manon Fiorot in the co-main event. The announcement was made on Wednesday.
Muhammad is 24-1 and won the welterweight title last July at UFC 304, defeating Leon Edwards by unanimous decision.
Muhammad has won his last 10 fights and has not been defeated since 2019.
Della Maddalena is 17-2. He lost his last fight in 2016. He’s entering this fight with a 17-fight win streak. Della Maddalena last fought in March 2024 and knocked out Gilbert Burns at UFC 299.
Shevchenko is 24-4, has won back the women’s 125-pound championship at The Sphere in the UFC 306 co-main event, defeating Alexa Grasso last September.
