Top UFC lightweight Arman Tsarukyan got some training in with one of MMA’s all-time greats ahead of the biggest fight of his career at UFC 300.

Currently the UFC’s #4-ranked lightweight contender, Tsarukyan is on a three-fight win streak and most recently scored an incredible first-round knockout against Beneil Dariush last December.

The 27-year-old will try to put himself in line for a lightweight title shot when he meets former champion Charles Oliveira at UFC 300, and it looks like Tsarukyan will be well-prepared for that fight considering he recently posted a photo of himself on the mats with MMA legend Fedor Emelianenko.

Universally regarded as one of the greatest fighters in MMA history, “The Last Emperor” initially carved out an incredible legacy in PRIDE before he later competed for Strikeforce and fought for the Bellator heavyweight title on two occasions.

Tsarukyan likely got some solid work in with Emelianenko considering the latter fighter only retired last year, and “Ahalkalakets” will need to be in top form in order to defeat Oliveira when the two lightweights meet on April 13.

The matchup between Tsarukyan and Oliveira is one of the biggest fights currently scheduled for UFC 300, and even though the event also features a pair of huge title bouts fans are still anxiously waiting for Dana White to reveal the night's headlining fight.

Speaking of Dana, he claims the fight between Tsarukyan and Oliveira will determine who earns a UFC lightweight title opportunity against champion Islam Makhachev.
