UFC 315 Weigh-In Results: Fight Shifts Weight Classes at Scales

UFC 315 is almost here. Saturday night, the No. 1 MMA promotion in the world heads up north to Montreal, Quebec for the fifth premium live event of 2025. Montreal’s Bell Centre, home ice of the Montreal Canadiens, serves as the venue for this weekend’s show.

Live coverage of tomorrow night’s event kicks off with action from the early prelims at 6:30 pm ET/ 3:30 pm PT. If you’re watching the card from the United States, ESPN+ will carry the entirety of the evening, early prelims included.

Worldwide, this phase of the card will be streamed on UFC Fight Pass. Late prelims will follow at 8 pm ET/ 5 pm PT on ESPN and ESPN+. Main card action caps off the evening at 10 pm ET/ 7 pm PT on ESPN+ pay-per-view.

UFC 315 Main, Co-Main Events Locked In at Weigh-Ins Friday Morning

Friday morning, the official weigh-in window for UFC 315 took place in Montreal. Saturday’s card is headlined by a championship doubleheader. Both such fights will be going ahead as scheduled after the weigh-ins.

Your main event of the evening for the UFC Welterweight Champion features Belal Muhammad (24-3, 1 NC MMA, 15-3, 1 NC), who weighed in at the championship maximum of 170 lbs, and challenger and No. 5 contender Jack Della Maddalena (17-2 MMA, 7-0 UFC.) He also clocked in at 170 on the button.

Ian Machado Garry (16-1 MMA, 9-1 UFC), who recently volunteered to serve as an alternate for the title bout if Muhammad or Maddalena can’t make the walk this weekend, will be ready to step in should it be needed after weighing in within the limit at 168 lbs.

The co-main event of Saturday’s extravaganza of competitive violence at UFC 315 features the battle for the UFC Women’s Flyweight Championship. Making weight was no problem this morning for current titleholder Valentina Shevchenko (24-4-1 MMA, 13-3-1 UFC), who tipped the scales at 124 lbs, and challenger Manon Fiorot (12-1 MMA, 7-0 UFC). She weighed in at 125 exactly.

Aldo vs. Zahabi Tilt Moved to 145 at UFC 315

The only change for the main card of UFC 315 occurred with what was supposed to have been a bantamweight affair between Jose Aldo (32-9 MMA, 14-8 UFC) and Aiemann Zahabi (12-2 MMA, 6-2 UFC). During the official weigh-in window, the bout was shifted to a featherweight contest.

Aldo clocked in at 143 lbs, with Zahabi coming in at 142.

Main Event: Belal Muhammad (170 lbs) vs. Jack Della Maddalena (170 lbs) UFC Welterweight Championship. Ian Machado Garry weighed-in at 168 lbs and will serve as the alternate if necessary.

Co-Main Event: Valentina Shevchenko (124 lbs) vs. Manon Fiorot (125 lbs) UFC Women’s Flyweight Championship.
