UFC 330 Event Announced

UFC 330 will take place from the Xfinity Mobile Arena on Saturday, August 15, 2026, in Philadelphia.

While the UFC is keeping the specific fights out of public view for now, a world championship bout will serve as the card’s main event. This marks the first time Philadelphia has hosted a “numbered” pay-per-view since August 2011, when Rashad Evans dominated Tito Ortiz in the main event of UFC 133.

Although the Octagon last touched down in Philly in 2019—featuring a first-round knockout by Justin Gaethje over Edson Barboza—that was a “Fight Night” television card. The timing of the event is no coincidence. Dana White noted that Philadelphia—as the birthplace of American independence—is a critical hub for the nation’s 250th-anniversary celebrations in 2026. That card will be preceded by the Freedom 250 event on July 14.

“Pennsylvania is thrilled to host UFC 330 in Philadelphia, the first time a championship bout is coming back to the Commonwealth in fifteen years. This is a huge year for Pennsylvania – all eyes are on the Commonwealth as we celebrate America 250 and host some of the biggest sporting events in the world in the place where it all started.

“From UFC and March Madness to the FIFA World Cup and the NFL Draft, we’re excited to host world class sporting events that will bring with them incredible opportunities for our businesses, our communities, and our fans. The Commonwealth is all in and we look forward to welcoming UFC back to Pennsylvania,” Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro said

UFC CEO Dana White has also talked up the upcoming Freedom 250 card, saying it is an event for the entire country, regardless of politics.

“If you love America, you’re going to love this event. It has nothing to do with politics. We just happen to be on the White House lawn and the President of the United States will be there. All I want to see when I’m watching these fights is the White House in the background. So they found this thing, it’s being built over in Europe. It’s going to be shipped to Philadelphia and then it’s going to be trucked from Philly to Washington D.C. and we’ll start to build it on the south lawn of the White House,” White said
