It is being reported that Former WWE champion Brock Lesner is seemingly in some major trouble in recent weeks.
Brock Lesner rose to worldwide fame in the WWE in 2002. Lesner then made the rare successful transition to the UFC octagon. It seemed like a flawless transition for him.
Lesner captured the UFC heavyweight gold in just four fights into his MMA career.
Although Lesner has a huge following, it may all come crashing down soon. Lesner may be soon banned from the sport.
Daniel Cormier recently revealed that Lesner is involved in some law trouble. Chael Sonnen added some context as to why Lesner may be in hot water.
Sonnen said, “Brock got involved in something called ‘sexting,'”
“And this is an uncomfortable word. It’s a combination of the words sex and texting,” Sonnen continued.
“This is what the kids do now, right? They’re dating online; it’s a very different world…”
Sonnen continued on to defend Lesner, even going as far as to insist that questions should stop being ask if both parties were consenting adults.
Sonnen said, “Were there two consenting adults? Does anybody feel unwhole? Does anybody feel violated? Does anybody feel victimized? And I think if you asked all those questions, you’re asking far too many.”
“But in this case, you could ask them. And you would get a yes to consenting adults, and you would get no, nobody is upset here. And it should stop right there,” Sonnen continued.
“Why wouldn’t we at least ask Brock, ‘Hey, was that you?’ Do you want to know why? Because it wasn’t any of our business. Because there were two consenting adults. Because, in a level of crime, this was not only not felonious. This was not even mischief. This was not even a misdemeanor. This was not looked at in any level by any authoritative body because it was two consenting adults talking dirty…”
Sonnen then concluded the rant with, “That’s a big punishment.”
