  • Lesnar is currently banned by TKO due to serious allegations.
  • Cormier hints at undisclosed trouble linking to Lesnar.
  • WWE's mention of Lesnar raises speculation about his future with the company.

Brock Lesnar’s extended absence from WWE programming may be about more than the company simply choosing to keep him off of television until things blow over. According to UFC Hall of Famer and sometimes WWE guest commentator Daniel Cormier, Lesnar is currently on TKO’s “ban list,” a claim he made during a recent appearance on MightyCast.

Lesnar Is A No Go For TKO Right Now

Apparently, allegations against Lesnar are more than just a reason for WWE to be cautious.

Cormier said:

“Brock is on the ban list right now. Oh, dude, Brock got into so much trouble. You know what Brock did? I ain't telling you on air what Brock did. Bro is in so much trouble.”

While Cormier did not provide details, his comments suggest the ban is linked to serious allegations involving Lesnar. Multiple sources have speculated that the situation may relate to Lesnar’s reported implication in the Janel Grant lawsuit against Vince McMahon, which accuses the former WWE Chairman of sexual misconduct and trafficking. The fallout from the lawsuit led to McMahon's resignation from WWE and the parent company TKO Group Holdings.

It's unclear if Cormier is hinting there's a lot more to this story than what is already public knowledge, but whatever TKO is concerned about regarding Lesnar, they don't want him anywhere near their product(s). Lesnar has not been on WWE television since his match at SummerSlam 2023.

WWE and TKO have yet to officially confirm Cormier’s claims.

WWE Mentioned Lesnar's Name On Television

Adding to the intrigue, Lesnar's name was unexpectedly mentioned during last Friday's episode of SmackDown. WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes referenced Lesnar in a promo: “I did not flinch when I stood against the BEAST.” Rhodes also name-dropped The Rock and Jey Uso in the same speech, sparking speculation about future storylines and whether Lesnar’s name-drop was intentional foreshadowing or not.

WWE also recently ranked Lesnar's Last Man Standing match against Roman Reigns at SummerSlam 2022 as the 12th greatest SummerSlam match of all time. If things were really as bad as Cormier suggests, would WWE try to avoid including Lesnar in such a ranking?

For now, Lesnar’s future in WWE remains uncertain. Cormier may not be as informed as he's letting on, but if he's correct, it doesn't sound like Lesnar will be showing up in WWE anytime soon.
