Shara Magomedov picked up a performance bonus for his submission win at UFC Oklahoma City, according to MMA Mania.

The outlet reported Sunday that the middleweight scored one of the night's post-fight awards for a finish described as unique. UFC Oklahoma City took place Saturday at Paycom Center, with Magomedov adding another stoppage to his promotional resume.

Du Plessis books Usman next

Middleweight champion Dricus Du Plessis has agreed to face former welterweight king Kamaru Usman in his next title defense, per the same report. No date or venue has been announced for the matchup, which pairs the South African titleholder against a fighter moving up from 170 pounds.

Elsewhere on the card, referee Herb Dean came under scrutiny for a stoppage that drew criticism from fans and media. MMA Mania noted the incident as the latest in a string of controversial calls involving the veteran official.

UFC has not yet confirmed the next event location or when Du Plessis and Usman will meet.
