Carlos Prates pulled off an upset in Australia as he defeated Jack Della Maddalena on his home ground in the third round. Prates previously mentioned that he was going to knock JDM out, and he did it. The Brazilian fighter dominated the whole fight from the start, and he landed clean knees and 1-2s. This win can now lead him to the title shot he has been asking for for a very long time.

In the co-main event, Quillan Salkeld scored the biggest win of his career after stopping Beneil Dariush by first-round TKO. Despite getting knocked down early in the round, Salkeld kept his composure and put out a brutal knockout. After this win, the Australian fighter will finally find his position in the top 15.

Steve Erceg picked up an important unanimous decision win over Tim Elliott in front of his home crowd in Perth. Elliott definitely gave Erceg early problems with his awkward style, but the Australian fighter adjusted well after the first round and dominated later.

The undefeated Marwan Rahiki stayed undefeated as he dominated Ollie Schmid and won the fight by TKO in the first round. Both fighters were landing good shots early, but Rahiki picked up his momentum and landed clean shots to win the fight.

Brando Pericic scored the biggest win of his UFC run by knocking out Shamil Gaziev in the second round. It was a heavyweight firefight from start to finish, with both men throwing huge shots, but Pericic kept the higher pace and absorbed Gaziev’s power well. ‘The Balkan Bear’ won his third straight win.

Fans booed heavily during the first main card fight between Louie Sutherland vs. Tai Tuivasa. Sutherland pulled off a dominant upset by shutting down Tuivasa over three rounds. He dragged ‘Bam Bam’ to the mat in every round and controlled him for long periods, which secured his win.
