The UFC has locked in a middleweight headliner for its Aug. 22 return to Sacramento.
Anthony Hernandez will face Gregory Rodrigues atop the Fight Night card at Golden 1 Center, the promotion announced last week. Hernandez looks to rebound from a February loss to Sean Strickland, while Rodrigues brings a three-fight winning streak into the bout. Sherdog first reported the matchup details.
The co-main event pairs light heavyweights Reinier de Ridder and Roman Dolidze, with both fighters coming off back-to-back defeats. De Ridder drops middleweight after consecutive losses to Brendan Allen and Caio Borralho. Dolidze has also dropped two straight.
The promotion announced additional matchups across multiple weight classes. Heavyweights Serghei Spivac and Vitor Petrino will meet on the card, as will Kennedy Nzechukwu and Shamil Gaziev. At strawweight, Carli Judice takes on Jeisla Chaves while Shanelle Dyer faces Elise Reed. Contender Series signee Wes Schultz draws Jackson McVey at middleweight.
More bouts are expected to be added in the coming weeks ahead of the Sacramento event.
