There is no event from the UFC tonight. On the heels of a major event in the land down under last week, the promotion returns to its headquarters for a Fight Night card in Las Vegas this Saturday.

UFC Tonight: UFC Vegas 96

Following an impactful UFC 305 card last week, the MMA world leader is back at the Apex for UFC Vegas 96 on August 24.

This latest UFC Fight Night event will be headlined by a major matchup at middleweight when former title challenger Jared Cannonier takes on rising star Caio Borralho. The card will also feature a welterweight clash when rankings stalwart Neil Magny faces fast-rising star Michael Morales.

The event in Las Vegas will also see the return of several Octagon veterans, including Angela Hill, Gerald Meerschaert, and Edmen Shahbazyan.

UFC Vegas 97 will be headlined by an interesting matchup at welterweight when top-five stalwart Gilbert Burns takes on talented grappling ace Sean Brady. The card in Sin City will also see the return of Octagon veterans like former strawweight champion Jessica Andrade, Matt Schnell, and Ovince St. Preux.

Upcoming events: UFC 306 at the Las Vegas Sphere

After a pair of cards at the UFC Apex, the company takes its violence circus down the road for a pay-per-view event inside the iconic Las Vegas Sphere on Sept. 14.

UFC 306 will be headlined by a huge matchup at 135 pounds when champion Sean O’Malley defends his title for a second time against relentless wrestling machine Merab Dvalishvili. In the co-main event, former women’s flyweight queen Valentina Shevchenko will look to regain her title in a rematch against Alexa Grasso.

The event from La Vegas will also see the Octagon returns of UFC veterans Ode Osbourne, Norma Dumont, and Raul Rosas Jr.
