Main card finishes and decisions highlight an action-packed UFC Vegas 108 fight night

UFC Vegas 108 delivered a mix of high-paced action and technical battles across six main card bouts. From fast starts to back-and-forth wars, the event showcased rising talent and tested veterans in key divisional matchups. This is how it all went down.

Flyweight (5 rounds):Tatsuro Taira vs. Hyun Sung Park Flyweight: Taira vs. Park – Round Breakdown:

Round 1 – Tatsuro Taira dropped Hyun Sung Park early with a sharp right hand. Taira immediately controlled Park on the ground and transitioned to a backpack position. He maintained pressure with a clean takedown and landed effective ground-and-pound, sealing a dominant opening round.

Duncan landed a slicing elbow that opened the cut, but Rebecki likely took the round with the knockdown and aggression in a close frame.

Round 2 – Duncan controlled range with effective kicks and clean strikes. A heavy right hand staggered Rebecki, followed by a head kick that landed flush. Rebecki responded with a takedown but couldn’t keep control. Duncan popped up and landed an uppercut, taking back momentum to secure the round.

Rebecki landed a big left, and the final minute featured wild exchanges. In a close and bloody round, Duncan’s volume and control may have edged it.

Lightweight: Ribovics vs. Brener – Round Breakdown:

Round 1 – Both fighters traded kicks early. Elves Brener secured a takedown, followed by one from Esteban Ribovics. They exchanged sharp strikes in the center with Ribovics pressing forward as the aggressor. Ribovics landed a big right hand and followed up with a flurry. Brener fired back with a combination, but was cut over his right eye. Ribovics closed strong and edged the round with more damage.

Round 2 – Both fighters landed clean shots. Ribovics threw in volume, while Brener answered with a sharp jab and fought well off the back foot. Ribovics began to bleed from the nose. Brener slipped briefly but rebounded with a left hook that helped seal a close round in his favor.

Round 3 – The final round started with both fighters throwing, but little landed cleanly early. Ribovics connected with a right hand, while Brener found success behind his jab. Ribovics pushed the pace, clinched against the cage, and ripped to the body and head. Brener answered back with punches in volume. Both men ended bloody in a wild exchange, but Ribovics may have done just enough.

Women’s Bantamweight: Rosa vs. Cornolle – Round Breakdown:

Round 1 – Nora Cornolle opened with chopping leg kicks. Karol Rosa responded with a sharp combination and clinched Cornolle against the cage, landing knees. Cornolle fired back with her own knees to break free. Rosa showed swelling under the left eye as Cornolle landed the heavier shots in a competitive round.

Round 2 – Rosa secured an early takedown and established dominant top position. She threatened with an arm-triangle choke while landing steady body shots. Rosa closed out the round with effective ground-and-pound from mount.

Round 3 – Rosa hit another takedown to start the round and maintained control from top. She landed consistent ground-and-pound while Cornolle remained active with elbows off her back. Rosa ended the round in full control.

Welterweight: Magny vs. Zaleski dos Santos – Round Breakdown:

Round 1 – Neil Magny opened with a stiff jab, using his reach advantage. Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos fired back with a clean combination and clinched Magny against the cage. The round ended with dos Santos unloading crisp strikes, edging the round with aggression.

Round 2 – Dos Santos secured a takedown and held top position briefly with little damage. Once back on the feet, Magny changed levels and completed a double-leg takedown. A clean knee from Magny stunned dos Santos, followed by a barrage of punches. Dos Santos dropped, and Magny rained down hammerfists until the ref waved it off.

Featherweight: Silva vs. Vallejos – Round Breakdown:

Round 1 – Kevin Vallejos opened with a sharp right hand, and both fighters exchanged leg kicks early. Vallejos followed up with clean combinations in the pocket, keeping Danny Silva on the back foot. Silva secured a late takedown, but Vallejos clearly took the round with his output and precision.

Round 2 – Vallejos let his hands go early, connecting with a solid right hand before Silva countered with a clean left. Vallejos landed three more rights and added a takedown of his own. Silva snuck in an elbow from the center, but Vallejos responded with another clean shot to close a dominant round.

Round 3 – Silva opened with a knee up the middle and secured an early takedown. Vallejos fired back with an uppercut, and both fighters traded in the center. Silva increased his output but couldn’t take control. Vallejos landed a flush right hand to end the round strong.

Per Carlos Contreras Legaspi, two lightweight wars earned Fight of the Night honors at UFC Vegas 108. Esteban Ribovics vs. Elves Brener and Mateusz Rebecki vs. Chris Duncan both delivered nonstop action and saw all six rounds fought at a blistering pace.
