Undefeated Shaidullaev Calls Out Volkanovski

Unbeaten Kyrgyz featherweight Rajabali Shaidullaev has set his sights on Alexander Volkanovski.

Shaidullaev congratulated the UFC champion on social media after Volkanovski stopped previously undefeated Movsar Evloev in the main event of UFC 333 in Abu Dhabi on Saturday, per Sherdog. The 20-0 PFL and Rizin titleholder said he wants the chance to test himself against the Australian.

"Congrats, Volk. That was a champion's performance," Shaidullaev wrote on X. "Volk looked sharp tonight. I'd love to test myself against him."

Shaidullaev has built his reputation outside the UFC. He beat former Bellator champion A.J. McKee at Super Rizin 5 in September and currently holds featherweight gold in both Rizin and the Professional Fighters League.

The Kyrgyz fighter also offered encouragement to Evloev in his post, telling the Russian to come back stronger after the loss. Shaidullaev defends his Rizin belt against Kyoma Akimoto at the promotion's New Year's Eve show on Dec. 31 in Japan.
