Valter Walker has addressed his notably subdued reaction to brother Johnny Walker's heavyweight debut knockout at UFC 332.

Johnny stopped Mick Parkin with a first-round knee from the clinch Saturday in Salt Lake City, earning a performance bonus in the process. Valter livestreamed his watch from Russia but showed little emotion as the finish unfolded, prompting questions from fans who expected a bigger celebration.

Why Valter Walker Stayed Calm During UFC 332 Stream

According to a Sherdog report, Valter explained that the bout aired at 1 a.m. local time in Russia, leaving him exhausted. He also cited a crude personal reason for his fatigue in a social media post written in Portuguese, staying true to his reputation for off-color humor involving teammates and training partners.

Valter, who carries a 16-1 record with five straight submission wins, now shares the UFC heavyweight roster with his brother. Johnny moved up from light heavyweight and improved to 23-10 with the knockout of Parkin.

The brothers train separately but have both competed under the UFC banner since Johnny's 2017 debut. Valter signed with the promotion last year and has finished every opponent inside the distance since 2024.
