Anderson Silva’s son was knocked out during a kickboxing match, proving that he hasn’t inherited his father’s fighting ability.

Silva is considered one of the finest MMA fighters of all time. He holds the record for the longest title reign in the history of the UFC, one that will likely never be beaten.

He will have been delighted to hear that his son too was pursuing a career in the sport. Gabriel Silva, son of Anderson, is an amateur kickboxer, but his career hasn’t exactly taken off like his father’s.

Gabriel Silva took part in a light-middleweight title fight and was hoping to establish his intentions to build a career in the sport. He failed to do so, emphatically.

Silva was knocked out in quite brutal fashion to show the world that he isn’t anywhere near the fighter that his father was.

His opponent, Vincent Familari, smelt blood after landing a few hefty hooks, hunted him down and found the finish.
