The A1 Combat 18 main event featured a jaw-dropping finish to name a women's strawweight champion.
Valesca 'Tina Black' Machado and Taylor Mauldin fought for the inaugural A1 Combat strawweight title at A1 Combat 18 on Thursday in Lemoore, California. The promotion is run by UFC Hall of Famer Urijah Faber.
Machado and Mauldin looked to not only win a world title on Thursday but also do it in an emphatic fashion inside the cage. Machado needed less than a minute to accomplish that feat.
Watch below as Machado sends Mauldin falling face-first with a brutal knockout.

Machado got back in the win column after a loss to Danni McCormack at Invicta FC 52. Before that, she won four fights in a row, with her last finish coming against Janelice Moraes in Feb. 2022.
Mauldin was unbeaten in MMA entering the fight with Machado. She earned wins over former The Ultimate Fighter standout Laura Gallardo and Macy Breaux during her young career.
Machado is one of the must-watch fighters in Faber's promotion, and she'll kick off her title reign and potentially make it to the UFC soon.
