Yanez Draws Unfinished Prospect For UFC 334

Adrian Yanez has a booking against an unfinished prospect for UFC 334 at Madison Square Garden.

Yanez will meet Juan Diaz in a bantamweight bout on Nov. 14 in New York City, as first reported by Marcel Dorff. The matchup pairs Yanez, who stopped former champion Cody Garbrandt in July, against a surging newcomer riding a nine-fight win streak.

Diaz Brings Perfect Finishing Record To MSG Card

Diaz submitted Malcolm Wellmaker in his Octagon debut this past May after earning a UFC contract on Dana White's Contender Series last year. The 16-1-1 bantamweight has never been finished across 18 professional fights.

Yanez snapped a rough stretch with the Garbrandt knockout, marking just his second win over the last three years. The UFC has yet to officially announce any fights for UFC 334, though Bilal Hasan versus Luis Gurule and Nazim Sadykhov versus Jefferson Nascimento are also reported for the card.
