The Dallas Cowboys and Las Vegas Raiders will face off in Sin City for an exciting preseason matchup.
The Cowboys failed to score a touchdown and settled for four Brandon Aubrey field goals. Despite this, Trey Lance had a decent game, completing 25 out of 41 passes for 188 yards without turning the ball over.
It looks like a positive sign for his development, and I’m sure the Cowboys are pleased with his performance.
Dak Prescott will not play in this game. Additionally, Lamb will not be playing.

Lance will take on the majority of the snaps, and I think Cooper Rush will also see more playing time. If the Cowboys can continue to protect the ball, they should have some offensive success against the Raiders.
Brandon Aubrey is a reliable kicker, so we can expect at least one field goal from him.
On the defensive side, the goal will be to prevent Minshew from finding his rhythm. Once he’s in the zone, he tends to maintain his momentum throughout the game.
It’s uncertain how long his leash will be, but if the Cowboys can limit big plays, they should be able to cover this spread.
The Raiders have a couple of key concerns on offense heading into the season. The quarterback situation remains uncertain, and questions linger about which running back will establish himself as the primary ball carrier.
In a recent game, Sincere McCormick led the team with 11 carries for 32 yards, showcasing his potential, while Zamir White, anticipated to be the starter, had six carries for 23 yards and a touchdown.
Additionally, Alexander Mattison, known for his productivity in Minnesota, had three carries for 15 yards.

On the receiving end, the Raiders boast a talented group led by Davante Adams, with Jakobi Meyers and Brock Bowers expected to be heavily targeted throughout the season.
Jalen Guyton, joining from the Los Angeles Chargers, and Tre Tucker, who demonstrated promise with two catches for 73 yards in a recent game, add depth to the receiving corps.
Defensively, the goal for the Raiders will be to apply pressure on the opposing quarterback and force errors.
With the Raiders currently favored by a touchdown, their defense will need to prevent the Cowboys from finding offensive rhythm in order to secure a win.
I like Over 40.5 points in this one. Both teams should be able to score points. Also, if Lance continues to improve, the Cowboys can cover the 7-point spread on the road.
That said, the Raiders come out of this one with a win.
