The NASCAR Xfinity Serie race at Atlanta, compared to the season opener at Daytona International Speedway. RCR’s championship contender, Austin Hill, won the race. It was his second win in a row, as he was also the winner at Daytona last week. Hill won after the front runners Jesse Love and Rilley Herbst ran out of fuel.

One such incident was the heated confrontation Kyle Weatherman had with the team of JJ Yeley. He was shoved aggressively by the No. 14 team Crew Chief Jason Miller. Before things went further, they were quickly separated by the standards, including the NASCAR officials. Miller yelled, “Next time you touch my racecar!” during the fight.

The heated incident was the by-product of an early race incident involving the duo. On lap 59, JJ Yeley in the No:14 car was spun by Weatherman. It cost Yeley good momentum as he was removed from the draft pack in a situation that didn’t call for such aggressive driving from the Xfinity drivers around.

According to other reports, Miller had already planned the confrontation. He was asked via the team radio where the No. 91 DGM Racing team would be pitting. Miller said, “He better have some pants on after this race because I’m going to come find him.”

Kyle Weatherman had some wordplay on X over the incident

Weatherman, who was very active on X (previously Twitter), had some fun with his fans as he dared his thoughts. He first posted a video clip featuring the incident and a scene from Will Ferell’s movie, the Step Brothers.

Later, he took it to X to share how his day went and admitted that after having an LR damage earlier in the race, it was a tough ride for him. He also said he recalled the incident of NASCAR officials quickly removing Miller from the scene after the fight.

Got LR damage really early and it was a parachute after that…right when I’m getting out of the car a crew member comes over to my car and wants to pick a fight NASCAR official took him down just as fast as he came over.

Weatherman posted on X.
