After nearly two decades together, Team Penske announced Wednesday that their road will continue with top-tier sponsor Discount Tire. The two sides have extended their partnership and, as in years past, Discount Tire will be featured on all three Team Penske NASCAR vehicles in the 2026 season.

This will include Joey Logano, Ryan Blaney, and Austin Cindric, all gunning for victory. Cindric's No. 2 Ford Mustang Dark Horse will be the primary partner during the NASCAR Cup Series season, however.

Blaney's car will sport the Discount Tire look for select races this season, while Logano will have it for one race to-be-determined.

In 2025, Discount Tire failed to secure any wins with Team Penske. In total, Team Penske won six races last season, but with bad luck on their side. Despite zero trips to victory lane, they remain one of the more recognizable sponsors in the entire series.

Discount Tire's Presence in Sports

Discount Tire is a tire reseller, founded in 1960. They were started up in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and are now headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona. Fun fact, according to the company's website, it holds the Guinness World Record for the longest-running TV advertisement.

In addition to being partnered with Team Penske's IndyCar Series program, Discount Tire is involved in Major League Soccer, signing a multi-year sponsorship deal in 2024. They also work in tandem with the ECNL (Elite Club National League), a youth, grassroots national soccer league.

Discount Tire is also a partner of the WNBA and they are involved with various MLB teams.

In recent years, Team Penske has been a featured member of the "Big 3" in NASCAR. Team Penske, Hendrick Motorsports, and Joe Gibbs Racing have topped the series as the three seemingly dominant teams. In fact, Team Penske drivers (Blaney and Logano) won the NASCAR Cup Series title in three consecutive seasons, from 2022 to 2024.

Since the start of the 2022 with the newly specified NASCAR NextGen car, Team Penske has secured 24 victories in 144 races -- a win-rate of 16.7%, or one in six races.
