After earning his third win of the ARCA Menards Series season, Brenden “Butterbean” Queen had to celebrate with the fans. Bean Nation was out in the stands at Michigan and loved seeing the Pinnacle Racing Group driver make the ascent up the catchfence.
These wins are coming regularly now for Butterbean Queen. Everyone who has paid even a little attention to the ARCA Menards Series this season knows that Queen is the real deal. Tonight may have been the best example.
Notably, a little more measured and not as hyper after the win today, Butterbean wasn’t going to let it be a boring celebration. So, he made his way to the outside wall and started to climb up the fence. The fans loved it!

Butterbean Queen is usually talking about Waffle House after he wins. Tonight, he brought up waffles, but the state of Michigan doesn’t have his favorite diner. So, he had to get a little creative when it came to celebrating the big win.
Before the first competition caution, Butterbean dominated. He shot out at the start of the race and was up to a five-second lead before that first yellow came out. It wasn’t all easy going, though.
Gio Ruggiero and Corey Heim gave Butterbean a run for his money. The few restarts in the race were crucial. Butterbean made the most of the last restart and then held on as Heim closed in on him with laps counting down.
When you look at the rest of the ARCA schedule, it only gets better for Butterbean Queen. He is going to have a lot of short tracks the rest of the way this season. That will really show us what he has as far as talent behind the wheel. He’s a short-track expert.
Butterbean is another example of the CARS Tour promoting and producing fantastic NASCAR talent. While a lot of folks will say that the ARCA Menards Series doesn’t do much for a driver like Butterbean in terms of competition, I’d say the exposure of these races at Daytona, Kansas, and Michigan shows the NASCAR garage what he can do. When he beats Corey Heim like he did tonight, it is a pretty big statement.
Would it be more difficult to win three times in six races in the CARS Tour? Definitely. That series is producing great talent because it teaches race craft, puts drivers in tough situations, and it doesn’t hurt that Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kevin Harvick, Jeff Burton, and Justin Marks are series co-owners. However, ARCA still has a place in the development of future NASCAR drivers.
Right now, Butterbean Queen is the guy to beat in ARCA. His season is off to a wonderful start, and I only see more wins on the horizon for this short tracker from Virginia.
