Bubba Wallace claims he can ‘easily run in the top five, top 10’ with 23XI Racing
Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Toyota’s Bubba Wallace seems to be oozing with confidence going into the 2024 NASCAR season as he is set to redeem himself after ending last season winless. 2023 was his career-best Cup Series season, and he got into the playoff R-12 despite not scoring a single-race win; he could have gone further if he could score that elusive win.

Wallace believes he can easily run in the front row with his 23XI Racing team next season. He is getting his confidence because he has been competitive in the second half of the season since joining 23XI in 2021. With two seasons and a race win under his belt in the Next-Gen car era with 23Xi, Wallace has learned to trust his prowess and move on if it isn’t his day.

We know we can run in the top five, top 10 easily. If you look at the second half of every season. It’s just a matter of showing up, just having fun and appreciating where you’re at. If it’s your day, it’s your day. If it’s not, then it’s not. Wallace told NBC Sports.

The No:23 Toyota Camry driver is right about his second-half performance. He scored 87% of his Top-10 finishes in the premier division in the last 26 races of the season, and he hasn’t been able to secure more than two top-10s in the first ten races of the season with 23XI. This shows that he has his team know how to run at the front; it is just a matter of cracking the code as soon as the season starts.
