Bubba Wallace revealed that his trophy from the Brickyard 400 has made it home. On X/Twitter, Wallace shared a photo of the Brickyard 400 trophy with the other trophies he has won in his racing career. He also showed off the shows that McDonald’s sent him.

“She’s home for good,” Wallace wrote. “Nice shoe addition from my [McDonald’s] family too!” It’s not clear when Wallace got the Ronald McDonald shoes, but it gives the trophy room a nice touch.

McDonald’s has been a longtime partner of Wallace and 23XI Racing, and it’s likely the company was excited to see him win one of the crown jewel races of NASCAR. Wallace snapped a 100-race winless streak and became the first Black driver to win a race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway oval.

Bubba Wallace says winning the Brickyard 400 was ‘really cool’

The victory didn’t come easily for Wallace, as he had to battle a rain delay and two overtime restarts to win. In the second overtime restart, Wallace, who was low on fuel, held off Kyle Larson to secure the victory.

“This one is really cool. I’m wore slap out, if you couldn’t tell,” Wallace told reporters during his post-race press conference. “I’m just proud of the team, proud of the effort put in each and every week, people pushing me to be better. The biggest thing that gets lost is believing in self. I’ll say those last 20 laps there was ups and downs of telling myself, You’re not going to be able to do it. I hate that I’m that way. I push myself to be the absolute best.”

The last time Wallace won a race was in 2022, so he enjoyed every moment of the celebration after the race. “It’s been about three years since I’ve done this,” he said. “Coming off turn 4, I knew it was a good turn 4. I knew he wasn’t going to get there, so I knew we won. Unless I ran out of gas early, that it was ours. I’m quite surprised I wasn’t crying like a little baby.”
