Bubba Wallace is switching teams — at least from a sponsorship standpoint.
After a brief stretch as a Dr Pepper-backed driver at 23XI Racing, Wallace is returning to the Coca-Cola family, a move that reshuffles the team’s branding dynamic more than its driver lineup.
The change puts Wallace back under the Coca-Cola umbrella, which includes ties to Monster Energy — a company that operates independently but maintains a long-standing strategic partnership with Coca-Cola.
The result is a unique scenario for 23XI Racing. The organization could now field multiple drivers aligned with different beverage brands, potentially including four separate energy drink affiliations across its roster.
It’s an unusual setup in NASCAR, where sponsorship alignment often dictates identity as much as performance.
For Wallace, though, the move marks a return to familiar territory — and a reunion with one of the sport’s most prominent corporate partners.
