Carson Hocevar rips ‘f***ing idiots’ after contact with John Hunter Nemechek at Iowa

Now, is this ironic or what? Carson Hocevar is complaining about the carelessness of others on the track at Iowa Speedway. Yes, the NASCAR bad boy is the one complaining about the driving of his fellow drivers this week.

A bit of a chain reaction sent Carson Hocevar spinning on the last lap of Stage 2. Hocevar has been running well today. Early in the race, he was a top-10 driver for many laps. He will now have to recover after his spin.

On the radio, Hocevar did complain to his team. He said, “Ugh, I just have f***ing idiots around me,” the Racing Underdogs reported. “I’m just tired of this s**t.”

Of course, the irony is that Carson Hocevar is the most aggressive driver in the Cup Series. He is blamed for things so much that he is blamed for the wrecks he did cause and the ones that he had nothing to do with.

Iowa Speedway is a track that can cause aggression and emotions to spill over. We have seen it with more than one driver. Trn 1 is a challenge in and of itself. There are so many things testing these drivers, including each other. There is bound to be frustration.

Carson Hocevar given new nickname

First race of the season for NBC and Leigh Diffey has thrown out a new nickname for Carson Hocevar already. No longer will the young NASCAR troublemaker be known by his regular name – he is now: Hurricane Hocevar.

The “Hurricane” is a pretty good way to describe Carson Hocevar. When he is on the track and has a fast car, he will run over anyone to get that next spot towards the front.

Hocevar is racing well right now, early in the race. As he popped into the picture near the top five, Diffey let out his new moniker. “Here comes the Hurricane!”

We all know that Carson Hocevar can be a wrecking ball of sorts. Just ask Ricky Stenhouse Jr.! If Leigh Diffey wants to stick with the nickname, I think it is a good one. Maybe Chili’s can come up with a Hocevar Hurricane cocktail or something for him to advertise on his car.

For now, Hocevar is running a good race. He is in great position to run up front all day if his car holds up and he makes the right decisions. Of course, that seems to be Hocevar’s biggest issue on the track, making the right decisions.
