A bit of a return to the classics. Chase Elliott and Hendrick Motorsports have revealed the 2026 NAPA Auto Parts paint scheme. Longtime Elliott fans are going to like this return to tradition, as it were, after a season of the solid blue NAPA No. 9 Chevy.

Chase Elliott and NAPA are synonymous in today’s NASCAR. The anchor sponsor for NASCAR’s Most Popular Driver is visible all year round. NAPA is a great sponsor and a great partner in NASCAR. This car is going to look great on the track in 2026.

The blue and white scheme for this upcoming season looks like previous designs, but with a different twist. I like the blue stripe down the side with the yellow borders. The entire car and design work well together on the updated NASCAR Chevy Camaro.

Last year, Chase Elliott had a blue NAPA scheme and a white NAPA scheme. It was a different look, and gave his sponsor a little room to get creative with different, special designs. The gold 100-year anniversary car was awesome. It feels right to see the more traditional NAPA design and colors on he 2026 car.

The 2025 season was a good one for Elliott. He was one of the most consistent drivers all season long and managed to win two races. It was the first time he had won multiple races in a season since 2022.

Is Chase Elliott ready to take the next step up again?

There were many races where it felt like, had Chase Elliott had just a little more oomph in his car, he could have won multiple races. He was great at Martinsville, Pocono, Gateway, and New Hampshire. Those races, if they had played out differently, could have fallen into Elliott’s lap.

In 2022, Elliott won five races in the first year of the Next Gen car. He also won five races in 2020 as he went on to claim the Cup Series championship that year. Elliott should be winning three or more races each season. He is talented enough, and Hendrick has the equipment to support him in reaching that goal.

A new look for the No. 9 NAPA Chevy. 2026 means a new season with so many opportunities on the track. While the NASCAR world is enthralled with the antitrust lawsuit, other teams are getting ready to go racing. Business as usual for Chase Elliott and his team.
