Chase Elliott Receives Blunt Warning Ahead Of NASCAR All-Star Race
Jerome Miron-Imagn Images.

Chase Elliott is still one of the most popular drivers in the NASCAR Cup Series, but is struggles this season can't be ignored.

Elliott, the 2020 Cup Series champion, still hasn't recorded a win since the season kicked off at Daytona. Outside of a top-five finish at Talladega, his last four starts have been somewhat underwhelming.

Although he's fourth in points this season, Elliott would admit that he's not driving up to his standards. With the NASCAR All-Star Race set for this Sunday, he's got time to work things out before the Coca-Cola 600.

That being said, Jordan Bianchi of The Athletic believes it's time to have a serious conversation about Elliott's struggles.

"We need to have a Chase Elliott conversation," Bianchi said, via On3. "Since the start of the 2023 season, the Wood Brothers have more wins than Chase Elliott does. That’s crazy to think about. That’s no disrespect to the Wood Brothers, that’s just the reality of the situation. They have two wins. Chase Elliott has one points win since the start of the 2023 season. That’s crazy to think about. This is again becoming a typical, what I would associate with a typical Chase Elliott year. They run just well enough."

Interestingly enough, Chase Elliott and Justin Haley have swapped rear tire changers for this Sunday's race at North Wilkesboro Speedway.

Maybe, just maybe, Calvin Teague will help Elliott return to his old form. Of course, there's no guarantee that'll happen.

It'll be interesting to see if Elliott can gain some momentum heading into next Sunday's race at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
